Event File : Details Tab

See Fig. A above.  This is the details tab of the new event creation page.  It is also part of the event file, which can be edited, that is referred to throughout the Gigbuilder FAQs.  The following sections are displayed on this page:

Event Details:
  • Event Name -  This is the event name for the event.  Click in the text field and enter an event name.
  • Greeting Name -  This is the greeting name for the event.  Click in the text field and enter a greeting name.
  • Event Type -  This is the event type.  Select an event type from the drop-down box.  Event types can be added via Setup > Event Planning > Event Types.
  • Event ID -  This is the event ID for the event.  Click in the text field and enter an event ID.
  • Public Calendar -  This is the public calendar display control.  Select a display option from the drop-down box.
Times:
  • Setup Time -  This is the setup time for the event.  Select a setup time from the drop-down boxes.
  • Start Time -  This is the start time for the event.  Select a start time from the drop-down boxes.
  • End Time -  This is the end time for the event.  Select an end time from the drop-down boxes.  This field is automatically calculated if start and duration times have been selected.
  • Duration -  This is the duration time for the event.  Select a duration time from the drop-down boxes.  This field is automatically calculated if start and end times have been selected.
  • Overtime -  This is the overtime for the event.  Select an overtime from the drop-down boxes.
  • Overtime Rate -  This is the overtime rate for the event.  Click in the text field and enter a number.  This field is automatically populated if a default is created in a package and a package has been chosen or if no package has been chosen but a default has been entered via Setup > Gigbuilder System > Event defaults.
Date Tracking:
  • Event Date -  This is the date of the event.  Select a date from the drop-down boxes.  This field is automatically populated if the event was created via the check availability form.
  • Date Created -  This is the date the event was created on and cannot be edited.
  • Contract Sent -  This is the date the contract was sent out on.  Click in the text field and enter a date or select a date from the calendar.  This field is automatically populated when moved to a pending status if no previous entry has been made and the default under Setup > Gigbuilder System > Event Defaults has been set to allow it.
  • Contract Due -  This is the date the contract is due on.  Click in the text field and enter a date or select a date from the calendar.  This field is automatically populated based on the default selected under Setup > Gigbuilder System > Event Defaults.
  • Contract Received -  This is the date the contract was received on.  Click in the text field and enter a date or select a date from the calendar.
  • Deposit Due -  This is the date the deposit is due on.  Click in the text field and enter a date or select a date from the calendar.  This field is automatically populated based on the default selected under Setup > Gigbuilder System > Event Defaults for contract due default days.
  • Deposit Paid -  This is the date the deposit was received on.  Click in the text field and enter a date or select a date from the calendar.
  • Balance Due -  This is the date the balance is due on.  Click in the text field and enter a date or select a date from the calendar.  This field is automatically populated based on the default selected under Setup > Gigbuilder System > Event Defaults.
  • Balance Paid -  This is the date the balance was received on.  Click in the text field and enter a date or select a date from the calendar.
  • Date Booked -  This is the date the event was booked on.  Click in the text field and enter a date or select a date from the calendar.  This field is automatically populated if a prospect/client makes a deposit payment via an e-payment method..
