New Venue - Venue Information

  This is the venue creation page.  It is also the detailed venue information file, which can be edited, that is referred to throughout the Gigbuilder FAQs.  The following sections are displayed on this page:


Venue Name:  This is the name of the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a venue name.

Address:
  • Street -  This is the street address of the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a street address.
  • City - State/Province -  This is the city and state / province of the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a city.  Select a state / province from the drop-down box.
  • Zip/Postal -  This is the zip / postal code of the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a zip / postal code.
  • Venue Phone -  This is the phone number of the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a phone number.
Contact Information:
  • Primary Contact -  This is the primary contact for the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a primary contact.
  • Contact Phone -  This is the phone number of the primary contact for the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a contact phone number.
  • Cell Phone -  This is the cell phone number of the primary contact for the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a cell phone number.
  • Text/SMS -  This field controls the sending of text / SMS messages to the primary contact for the venue.  Select a radio button option.
  • Fax Number -  This is the fax number of the primary contact for the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a fax number.
  • Email -  This is the e-mail address of the primary contact for the venue.  Click in the text field and enter an e-mail address.
  • Mass Email -  This field controls the acceptance of mass email from Gigbuilder to the primary contact for the venue.  Select a radio button option.
  • Website -  This is the website of the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a website address.
Additional Contacts:
  • Name -  This is the name of the additional contact for the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a name.
  • Phone -  This is the phone number of the additional contact for the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a phone number.
  • Email -  This is the e-mail address of the additional contact for the venue.  Click in the text field and enter an e-mail address.
Notes:  This is a note(s) that pertains to the venue.  Click in the text paragraph and enter a note(s).

Venue Details:
  • Setup Time -  This is the normal setup time for this venue.   Select a number of hours in the first drop-down box.  Select a number of minutes in the second drop-down box.
  • Breakdown Time -  This is the normal breakdown time for this venue.  Select a number of hours in the first drop-down box.  Select a number of minutes in the second drop-down box.
  • Distance from Office -  This is the distance from the office to the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a distance.  Select a number of minutes from the drop-down box.
  • Travel Fee -  This is the travel fee associated with this venue.  Click in the text field and enter a travel fee.
  • Setup Fee -  This is the setup fee associated with this venue.  Click in the text field and enter a setup fee.
  • Venue Type -  This is the type of venue.  Select a type from the drop-down box.
  • Client Selection -  This field controls the selection of the venue by a prospect / client.  Select a selection from the drop-down box.
  • Direct Phone -  This is the direct phone number of the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a direct phone number.
Driving Directions:  This is the driving directions to the venue.  Click in the text paragraph and enter driving directions.  Alternatively, click the "[Find]" link for directions based on the address provided.

Room Information: 
  • Room -  This is the room name inside the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a room name.
  • Location -  This is the location of the room inside the venue.  Click in the text field and enter a location.
  • Floor -  This is the floor number that the room is located on.  Click in the text field and enter a floor number.
  • Capacity -  This is the capacity of the room.  Click in the text field and enter a room capacity.
Uploads:
  • Attach a file -  This field is used to browse and upload a file that pertains to the venue.  Click the "Browse" button and search for a file.  Find the file and click the "Open" button.  The file location will now appear in the text field.  The file will automatically upload when saving the venue.
Events Assigned to this Venue:  This section lists the events associated with the venue.  Clicking a date will open the event information file for that date.
