| How do I add a link or banner? | |||||||
Run the link check program. Simply type: http://linkcheck.wedj.com and follow directions for option 1. You'll click a link from there to check your website. You'll need your WeDJ.com username. The link checker will visit the website you provided us and check for a reciprocal link. If the link cannot be found (or if you have not yet placed a link) it will respond with a list of page(s) where you can place a link without modifying your website. STEP #2: Select a page to place your WeDJ.com reciprocal link. The ONLY acceptable pages are those which were displayed when you ran the link check in Step #1. Any other page on your site is unacceptable because it is not able to be "seen" by the search engines. STEP #3: From the link checker main page -- http://linkcheck.wedj.com -- press 'Click to find Banners or Links' and select an appropriate banner or link. You may also create your own custom link as long as it points to http://www.wedj.com -- help creating custom links is beyond the scope of our help system. STEP #4: Go and edit your website. Open the page you want to place the link on and add the link you selected or create your own custom link. In most cases you should be able to copy and paste-as-html. Save your work. STEP #5: Re-run the link check from Step #1 and it should immediately find the link and activate our link back to you. |
