 The simplest method to check the validity and layout of an automated email is to open it from an active event.  Gigbuilder provides a method to send individual emails and individual automated message(s) or canned email created with tokens.

First, open an active event.

Then click CLIENT and press [M] which will bring up an email interface.

Scroll to the field that says MESSAGE.  It will have a drop down box that contains all your automated emails.  Select the message from the drop down box and press [Insert Custom Email].

You'll see the email formatted exactly as if the customer received it automatically.  Of course, you can send the email as well.

** HINT **
You can create custom emails to be sent individually by changing the status to DISABLED.  It won't ever go out automatically and you can use the method described above to individuall email.
