Setting your cell phone up will also permit you to receive text messages when a new event request is made, allowing you to get back to your prospect in the fastest possible way. To begin, click 'Setup' -> Gigbuilder System -> Company Info. Type your full ten digit phone number without spaces, dashes, etc... just the digits. If you want to allow text back operations, then click the box. It will take up to 30 minutes for the system to activate your phone. Once activated, program the following phone number into your cell phone: 309-361-8708 -- give it a name such as Gigbuilder or whatever you want to call it. Once your phone has been activated (wait about 30 minutes), you can text Gigbuilder and it will text you back with all sorts of information. As of this writing, you can perform the following commands: EVENTS - Shows you all events happening today EVENTS mm.dd.yyy or mm/dd/yyyy - shows you events happening on a particular date. For example, EVENTS 7/4/2011 will show you all events on july 4th, 2011. MEETINGS - similar to events, shows all meetings happening today. MEETINGS mm/dd/yyyy or mm.dd.yyyy will show all meetings on a particular day. CHECK mm/dd/yyyy will check availability on a particular day. HOLD mm/dd/yyyy,customer name,phone number -- will hold a date for a prospect. For example, HOLD 7/4/2011,Mike Smith,3095551212 will create a new event for mike smith on 7/4/2011. Be sure to use commas between each item. |
